You can participate in the Be a Partner in Preserving History for a donation of $50.00 to be used toward the Museum's expansion and continuing operation. Your name -- or a loved ones -- will be permanently engraved in a paving brick and set on the grounds of the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City. Each brick offers three lines of twenty letters each, including spacing and punctuation. This provides ample space for names, messages, or whatever you wish to say to future visitors. You will be proud to display the numbered certificate acknowledging your contribution and brick's inscription. Your certificate's inscription will be sent immediately after the brick has been installed.
Proceeds of the project will be used for the purposes of expanding and operating the facilities of the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City, Nevada.
The initial paving with the personalized bricks is on the Memorial Walkway alongside the Interpretive Center. Future paving will include additional walkways, outdoor interpretive areas and plazas.
Once they are received from the manufacturer, bricks will be put on display in the Museum's Brick Display Case. Bricks are laid in the walkway twice a year, before Memorial Day and before the Museum's annual Nevada Railroad History Symposium.
Your donation will contribute greatly to assuring that Nevada's rich railroad heritage and pioneer spirit will continue to be preserved.
Take advantage of this unique opportunity to show your pride and to support one of the nation's finest and fastest growing railroad museums.
I understand that I will receive my own certificate of placement when the brick is installed.
